Adding Value to Our Partnership with Viega Training Courses

At Porter Pipe, we’re always looking for new ways to add value to our partnerships with both vendors and customers. So, when the opportunity arose to team up with Viega and give our customers a training opportunity like no other, we knew it was the perfect way for our customers and team members alike to better understand the products and tools that make all the difference on the job.

Thanks to our longstanding relationship with Viega, we were lucky enough to bring eight customers from five companies along to a Commercial Piping Solutions class at Viega’s Nashua, New Hampshire training location earlier last month. Half of the course was spent in the classroom, learning up on the value of Viega products and the ways they can increase profitability. The rest of the time, we were on a mock job site, getting hands-on training in putting those solutions to work.

Over the course of the two-day session, the team at Viega gave us all a tour of their Interactive Learning Center, an introduction to their design services, tech support and training, as well as details on PEX plumbing, ProPress and MegaPress, hybrid systems, installation techniques, project savings, hands-on installation techniques and competitive information.

It was a jam-packed two days, and everyone from our customers to our President, Bud Porter, Marketing Manager, Andrew Peck, and outside sales representatives left with greater knowledge of the benefits of Viega products and of the techniques for a more productive job. It was such a success, that we’re already planning our next training trips to Viega’s Nashua and Broomfield, Colorado locations.

We’d like to give a huge thanks to Viega for an incredible opportunity to add value to our partnership, and to our customers for coming out and learning alongside our team. This is what partnering with Porter Pipe is all about, and we can’t wait to continue building these relationships and expanding our knowledge through future training opportunities together!
