What are your hours of operation?

Our Addison headquarters is open 24-hours a day Monday through Friday. Our Chicago branch is open from 5:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday and our Hammond, Indiana, branch is open from 6am to 10pm Monday through Friday.

All of our branches are also available for emergency weekend service.

Can I order online?

We do offer online ordering. This can be accessed in our Storefront. If you are not already registered, fill out our storefront account request form, and we’ll notify you as soon as you are in our system.

Are your employees union affiliated?

Yes. We employ Local Union 597 Shopmen’s Division members for our warehouse operations. They are the best in the industry. Rest assured your project will be completed safely to your specifications, on time and on budget.

Products, Ordering & Delivery

What products do you carry?

Our inventory totals more than 21 million products and over $250 million. This helps us ensure we have the products our customers need in stock and ready for next-day delivery.

Where can I find your latest pricing information?

We keep our most up-to-date pricing information on our Price Sheets & Updates page.

You can also sign up for email notifications whenever price changes occur. Complete our Request Pricing Updates form and we’ll be sure you begin receiving notification automatically.

What is your delivery radius?

Our in-house delivery fleet covers a 75-mile delivery radius, serving Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana. We also have capabilities to ship material anywhere in the U.S. For more information on long-distance shipping, call us at 630.543.8145.

What is your delivery policy?

Our standard delivery service is next-day delivery. We are available 24-hours a day Monday through Friday to take your orders. For faster service, our will call facilities are available during business hours and in emergencies on weekends for order pick up.

Which branch should I order from?

All orders can be placed through our Addison headquarters at 630.543.8145 or online in our Storefront.

What is your return policy?

Returns must have a return authorization number from Porter Pipe & Supply before material can be returned. Please contact Tom Skaar at tskaar@porterpipe.com to request a return number.

What does F.A.S.T.-Pak stand for and how does it work?

F.A.S.T.-Pak stands for Fast, Accurate, Safe and Tailored. This is Porter Pipe’s proprietary packing method. We eliminate used boxes and non-uniform packaging sizes, and repack your deliveries to help keep your team safe and make a measurable difference on your labor time during unpacking and inventory.

Do you offer tracking or reporting services?

Yes. We offer a full-service suite of customizable reporting services that includes job tracking, material pricing timelines, KPI reporting, consolidated invoicing and billing, electronic product submittal, MTR documentation and customized reporting.
